This is my favorite time of year as a writer. Ever since my first NaNoWriMo in 2015, this annual event has become a part of my holiday traditions.

Last year I participated as a rebel in NaNoWriMo, working on a rewrite of a previous novel I had written. This year I’m back with a new original story that I’m excited to write.

Suddenly, Omega

This year, I’m working on a story that I plan to publish first through Kindle Vella in December, before launching it as a novel on Amazon Kindle in time for Valentine’s Day in February 2022. Basically, Kindle Vella readers will have early access to the story.

I have given the story the title Suddenly, Omega, and will set the story in the omegaverse (also known as alpha/beta/omega dynamics). As with my past stories, this will be an erotic romance and only suitable for adults.

A sheltered omega has been on suppressants since he was a child and told he was a beta. After his parents die in a tragic car crash, he no longer receives his regular suppressant doses, forcing him to experience his first heat. Not understanding what’s wrong, he goes to the ER. To save the omega’s life, the alpha doctor on call must help him through his first real heat. Afterward, they deal with the consequences.
