For anyone who follows me on social media, specifically on either Facebook, Instagram, or Threads, I’ve been locked out of all my accounts. Hopefully, this is a temporary situation, but trying to get in touch with Meta Support when all accounts are disabled is not an easy feat. I have appeals pending on two accounts. Others have been given no appeal options. So, I’m not sure what I’ll do going forward if these accounts aren’t reinstated.

This has been especially frustrating because Facebook is my primary means of marketing my books. The ads I run there are the only ones that help me sell my books. When I’m not running ads on Facebook, I don’t make any sales. Thankfully, you can still find me on Medium, where I write and post op/ed pieces. I also have a BlueSky account that I rarely use (although I may be forced to use it more now that I lost my access to Threads).

For now, all I can do is wait and see how Facebook responds to my appeals before I try to find other means of restoring my accounts. Wish me luck!
