In my previous blog post, I reflected on this past year. Now it’s time to look forward.

While I still have some health challenges that are affecting my productivity, I’m going to keep pressing forward. I am determined to complete the sci-fi series I’m working on. If things go according to plan, then the next novel will be published in the summer of 2024.

However, if you don’t want to wait that long, you can start reading The Medellan Conspiracy now on Kindle Vella. I post two new episodes weekly and it should conclude in May 2024. The final draft will be available for pre-order 30 days after it’s run on Kindle Vella concludes.

I will also begin writing the yet unnamed third novel in this series in 2024. While I don’t do a lot of planning before I write a novel, I have a basic idea of where our heroes, Ardyn and Jevan , will head next. I even have had some ideas of how I’d like to conclude the third novel and begin the fourth.

In August of 2024, I will also be at the Fort Collins Comic-Con, where I will sell (and autograph upon request) my first two novels. So, if you plan on being anywhere near Northern Colorado and would like to meet me and talk about my books, feel free to drop by and say hello.

Beyond anything writing related, I don’t have any specific plans for 2024. I hope I’m able to find some relief of my health issues, as I’m finding them quite distracting. It’s difficult to focus on writing, or much of anything else, when I feel unwell.
